Happy St. Patrick's Day! In the United States, this holiday is celebrated by a plethora of fun, cute traditions- one of which is that you're supposed to pinch anybody who isn't wearing green. To celebrate here, I'd like to point out ten green characters in Star Wars that never get pinched.
(Does green skin count? I think it counts.)
Grogu
I wouldn't want to pinch Grogu anyway (I mean, maybe on his cute little cheeks), but this green-skinned, big-eared baby over twice my age does not need to be pinched today. Maybe he'll just celebrate with some green cookies instead of blue ones.
Hera Syndulla
Pinching Hera probably wouldn't go very well anyway, so it's a good thing you don't have to do it! The best pilot in the galaxy (I will not budge on this) doesn't need a St. Patrick's Day pinch, no matter what she wears- and I suppose Kanan doesn't either, considering his usual shirt color of choice.
Neeku Vozo
Why would you ever pinch Neeku in the first place? Why would you want to hurt this precious soul? He's done nothing wrong ever in his life. Not only is Neeku protected from any St. Patrick's Day pinching, but Kaz is too... unless he takes off his jacket.
Loden Greatstorm
The fun, quippy Jedi master from Light of the Jedi is already green enough to avoid any pinching, though I'd be too afraid to pinch a Jedi master anyway. Although maybe it would be fine, since they're supposed to be chill and patient...
Zatt
The nerdy Nautolan youngling from The Clone Wars bears the trademark green skin of his species, keeping him safe from any pinching his peers may get up to on Space St. Patrick's Day in the Jedi Temple.
Vernestra Rwoh
Vernestra, the advanced for her age Jedi Knight from A Test of Courage is also safe from being pinched- though I doubt her friend Avon Starros from the same book would be stopped by such a technicality.
Kit Fisto
Like Zatt, Kit Fisto is also a green-skinned Nautolan Jedi, though he's much more trained. I'd be wary of pinching him, too, considering his obvious skills with a lightsaber (though unfortunately, he's not a match for Palpatine).
Yoda
Can't talk about green characters in Star Wars without mentioning good old Yoda! He's tiny, he's old, and the wisest of the masters on the Jedi council. And then for a while, he's the last of the masters on the Jedi council. He won't get a pinch for St. Patrick's day, but the seagulls will probably still poke at his head- not fun.
Luminara Unduli
Luminara is another one of the Jedi, though honestly I think you might be able to get away with pinching her- she'd probably just stare at you in confusion more than anything. She's a Mirialan, and her padawan that's also a Mirialan, Barriss Offee, are both safe from being pinched today.
Bossk
Of all the characters on this list, Bossk is probably the one I'd least like to pinch... so it's a good thing I don't have to! I mean, just look at him. Regardless, he's still a fairly fun guy, even teaming up with Ezra Bridger once, so... maybe not too horrible. I still don't want to pinch him though. I don't even know if you really can, considering the scales and everything.
