This week, episode 6 of Skeleton Crew introduced us to a massive junk crab with a shell covered in rusty, pointy scrap metal, pointedly named Tet'niss.
Star Wars has never been a stranger to on-the-nose punny names for characters, so I thought I'd compile a few of my favorites here!
Elan Sleazebaggano
Elan Sleazebaggano was probably one of the first names that came to mind when you read the title, wasn't it? It doesn't get more on-the-nose than this name- there's a strange sleazebag offering to sell deathsticks to Obi-Wan in a club, what better name could he have?
Whorm Loathsom
A The Clone Wars movie classic! General Loathsom leads the Separatist attack on Christophsis. He's brash, uncaring and ultimately... loathsome!
Ima Gun-Di
Everyone knows this infamous name too. In the episode of The Clone Wars, "Supply Lines," we meet a new Jedi fighting for the Twi'leks on Ryloth with this name. And you'll never guess what happens to him that very episode!
Therm Scissorpunch
Everyone moved on from Therm Scissorpunch, but I never did. Therm Scissorpunch is one of the greatest things to come out of Solo: A Star Wars Story (a movie with a lot to offer)! I mean he's a lobster! He has claws like scissors! He punches- with scissors! It's perfect!
