Star Wars to Look Forward to in 2026

We had a lot of good Star Wars from 2025 to enjoy- from the conclusion of Skeleton Crew, to Andor, to Young Jedi Adventures and plenty more! But that doesn't mean we slow down in 2026, there is plenty more Star Wars that we have to look forward to this year!

Books & Comics

As always, there are a plethora of books and comics coming out this year. Fans of The Acolyte will be able to pick up The Art of The Acolyte, comic runs like Star Wars (2025) and more continue into the new year, as well as new comic stories arriving at your local comic store. And that's not all, as my fellow novel fans of plenty more to anticipate- like next month's Outlaws book Low Red Moon or Legacy, detailing Rey's training under Leia.

Ahsoka Season 2

While we don't have a release date (or even a trailer) yet, we know that season 2 of Ahsoka is on the slate for this year. We can expect even more of Ahsoka and Sabine's team-up or Hera Syndulla leading the New Republic, plus new stories with Ezra back in his home galaxy and Garazeb Orrelios making an appearance!

Maul: Shadow Lord

Similar to Ahsoka, we don't have much information about Maul: Shadow Lord, including a release date. The trailer was shown at Celebration Japan last year, and while not public, as someone who saw it I can assure you that the show will be well worth the wait, and no doubt filled with beautiful animation and intense criminal underworld drama.

Zero Company

Just like the previous two, Zero Company also has not nailed down a specific release date, but we know its slated for 2026. The upcoming turn-based combat game lets us step into a whole new sort of Star Wars game with brand new characters in an original story set during the Clone Wars and I, for one, just cannot wait!

The Mandalorian & Grogu

And of course Star Wars' biggest release this year is undoubtedly May's The Mandalorian and Grogu. Bringing Din Djarin and Grogu to the big screen for the first time, this movie has everything- Sigourney Weaver, Zeb Orrelios and huge action set pieces. And of course, we can't forget Jeremy Allen White's Rotta.

This year will be filled with more amazing Star Wars than we can probably handle, and I for one and am excited for all of it! Which 2026 Star Wars project are you most anticipating?
